Homemade butter today in 4th grade history! Students have been learning about Alabama history in the late 1800s.


Congratulations to our 2025 Spelling Bee š Champion Ivan Baker and our runner up Oaklee Overton! All contestants did a fantastic job!


WPI students had a blast at the Cullman County Sheriffās Office Rodeo yesterday! They came back and enjoyed a fun class party with Mrs. Nancy, Mr. Lee, and Mr. Cleghorn!






Our first Deck the Halls was a success. Thank you everyone who came and a huge shoutout to all those that made it possible! WP is such a great community and we are glad to be able to host fun events like this! We hope everyone enjoyed tonight as much as we did! Thank you Hunter Persall for making WPI shine a little brighter this Christmas season! Hunter does an amazing job and we highly recommend him to anyone!

The gifted classes from Cold Springs, Harmony, West Point Elementary and West Point Intermediate have just finished their annual Childhaven Christmas project.
Their teacher is Mrs. Ginger Norris. Approximately 65 students were involved in this Community Service Project. This is the fourth straight year that Ms Norris' students have worked on this project, āOctober Christmasā.


Thank you so much to Sen. Gudger and Rep. Wadsworth for the donations to WPI to help improve the educational opportunities for all of our students. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the great leaders in our State!

Lunchroom rockstars! These ladies always do a great job, but they absolutely bring it on Thanksgiving! We are very thankful for them!



West Point Intermediate is excited to announce that we received a 94 on the Alabama Department of Education Report Card! We are so proud of our students and faculty for this amazing achievement!
We had 100% student growth and an attendance rate of 97.3%!






WPI students were able to watch Dustin Phillips with UAH launch a weather balloon today. As of 2:15pm, the balloon was 8 miles up and already over the Alabama Georgia border.



4th Grade students building Turkey Transportation Devices in the STEAM Lab!
WPI 5th graders selected Mrs. Johnson as our Super Citizen! Mrs. Johnson represents all of the characteristics of a super citizen and then some! Very deserving!

Great job by our WPI Robotics Team this weekend!

Our 4th graders had a great day at the Water Festival at Wallace State! Mrs. Duckett was also recognized for being present at every festival since its origination! We finished the day eating lunch and playing at Heritage Park. It was a great day with these great students!










Happy Principal's Day to our favorite! Mr. Jones is dedicated to his students and staff and always puts others first. He makes learning fun and models what we strive to become on a daily basis. He's our fearless leader and our mentor. We love and appreciate you Mr. Jones!

Mrs. Voce and Mr Carter's classes have been learning about Fibonacci Numbers. Very interesting concept and the students were all about it! If you don't know about Fibonacci Numbers, ask your fifth grader to explain it to you and see for yourself. Great job everybody!
