We are so excited! We will be starting a $2 Worldās Finest Chocolate Bar fundraiser today. The bars are twice as big and chunky! Please make sure to check your students backpacks for the permission slip and let us know if you will be willing to help us by selling 1 or more boxes of this delicious chocolate. All of the chocolate bars offer this great coupon from Jacks! Please send back the signed permission slip to check out the first box of chocolate. Once you sell through your first box and turn in the money you can check out a second box. Our goal is to sell 318 boxes of chocolate so we can raise money to purchase educational supplies and materials needed here at school! Thank you in advance for your support!

Following today's National Weather Service briefing, Dr. Barnette has decided to have a remote learning day on Friday, March 3, 2023. Cullman County will be under a rare high wind warning beginning tomorrow. We are expecting sustained winds 30-40 MPH with gusts 50-60 MPH, well above safe operating conditions for school buses. The NWS says to expect - and be prepared - for downed trees and power outages. Students will be provided assignments to complete tomorrow.

Due to the risk of severe weather, Cullman County Schools will be remote again tomorrow. (Thursday 2/16/23). There is a strong possibility for tornadoes and I believe that parents should be able to make the decision to carry their children to a storm shelter as needed. If storms are not in our area students should use this time to catch up on any school work or spend time practicing their reading. Thank you and please stay safe. - Shane Barnette
